In my spare time, I like to write about local history, rock music, and plants.
I wrote for Hoodline from 2016-2021 and The San Franciscan magazine from 2020-2024. Although these publications are no longer active (at least, not in their original form), I'm forever grateful to Erica, Amanda, Allie, and Rose, the amazing editors who gave these pieces life and helped me become a better—albeit still amateur—journalist. Since 2023, I've been a volunteer writer with reEnvisionRepair, which has involved interviewing local business owners and publishing short- and long-form pieces about their respective crafts. I've been honored to play a small role in highlighting the stories of these hard-working and undersung artisans, of which there are many!
